In 1983 Margarita Bergen was kind enough to let me set up a mini-studio in her Pontalba apartment. In that pre-digital, pre-internet era it seems (in retrospect) that people were much more open about being photographed and with the enthusiasm of a slightly trained puppy I simply asked anyone who looked interesting to walk up and pose. The street cool of these All Stars is one of the better images from that day. -R.O.
